Agenda

1:00 PM

Welcome

Hear about Unity’s latest innovations and how it provides the building blocks to power transformational digital twins.

John Cunningham, Head of Government Solutions, Unity

1:05 PM

What is a digital twin?

Unity is paving the path for industrial digital twin transformation by leveraging its gaming technology. Unity’s game engine is at the center of the integration and visualization of digital twin applications as they relate to engineering design, operations and maintenance, simulation, and training applications.

Nelson Lerma, Senior Solutions Engineer, Unity

1:15 PM

Designing future vehicles for future systems

Bell is committed to pushing the boundaries of innovation in the vertical flight industry. Using Unity visualizations, Bell is improving vehicle concept design by enabling systems-based thinking with digital twins of future operations networks. Analyzing these networks helps validate performance requirements and properly guide how optimum performance is defined and achieved.

Jonathan Mitchell, Manager of Strategic Modeling & Simulation, Bell Flight

1:40 PM

Transforming DoD installation operations with digital twins

The reconstruction of Tyndall Air Force Base after Hurricane Michael provides a once-in-a-generation opportunity to imagine what modern installations require and to rapidly undergo digital transformation. Hear how Tyndall’s digital twin will be used for planning, construction progress, operations and maintenance, and more mission support tools. The sky’s the limit!

Lance Marrano, Senior Scientific Technical Manager –- Smart Installations and Infrastructure, at

U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC)

Sandra Marshall, Chief Technologist, Booz Allen Hamilton

2:05 PM

Virtual infrastructure for managing smart growth in a fast-growing metropolis

The Orlando digital twin, launched this year, uses brand-new 3D technology that displays 800 square miles of the Orlando region. It is the first-of-its-kind digital twin of a region, transforming economic development and solving regional challenges while providing a powerful tool for business and government leaders to strike the right balance between growth, regional mobility, and the environment. Learn how Orlando plans to evolve its digital twin from a collaboration tool to a data-driven platform for what-if analysis, real-world simulation, and improved operational decision-making.

Tim Giuliani, President and CEO, Orlando Economic Partnership
